You're a passionate plant parent who's been snipping cuttings and dividing succulents like crazy — but you keep losing track of which cuttings are rooting, which ones failed, and which babies are ready to pot up. Build a single-page **Plant Propagation Tracker** that lets you log every cutting or division you attempt. Each propagation entry should capture: a plant name or nickname, the propagation method (water, soil, air layering, division, etc.), the date started, current status (attempting → rooting → potted up → failed), and an optional short note. Entries should be displayed as a visual card grid, with status shown as a color-coded badge so you can see at a glance what's thriving and what didn't make it. Users should be able to add new entries, update the status of an existing cutting as it progresses, and delete entries for cuttings that are done. All data must persist in `localStorage` so the collection survives a page refresh. A simple summary strip at the top should show counts: how many are currently attempting, rooting, potted up, and failed.

Problem Solving & Design B+
The tracker maps cleanly to the brief's domain with well-chosen status colours, a confirmation dialog before deletion, and a storage-error alert that keeps the user informed without crashing.
Completeness A
All brief-required features are fully implemented with no missing functionality; the only gap is the absence of any loading state indication.
Technical Craft B
The codebase is well-structured with typed interfaces, validated storage reads, and responsive CSS breakpoints, but has no automated test suite beyond a minimal self-check script.
