Terms & Conditions
The rules for using VibeDev. Read alongside the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
last updated 23 July 2026
1. Acceptance
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of VibeDev (the platform, at vibedev.id). By creating an account or entering a challenge, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction and able to receive payouts to a bank account in your own name. One account per person; accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold, or transferred.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for all activity under it. Keep your login and any linked accounts secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Competitions and scoring
Challenges are skill-based competitions. Each submission is a real, working build from your public repository, judged against a rubric that is published before submissions open and is not changed for that challenge.
Scoring uses an AI judge across three categories, each scored from 0 to 100, with the final score being the average of the three. Per-category scores and the judge's written reasoning are published after the reveal. Ties are broken by the strongest single category, then the earliest verified commit, never by chance.
Outcomes depend on demonstrable skill measured by the published rubric. VibeDev is not a game of chance.
4. Fair play
You must submit your own work and hold the rights to everything you enter. Plagiarism, submitting another person's work, sharing entries within a live challenge, and any attempt to manipulate, reverse-engineer, or game the scoring are prohibited.
Automated abuse, multiple accounts, exploiting bugs for advantage, and interfering with other competitors or the platform may lead to disqualification, forfeiture of entries and rewards, and suspension.
5. Credits and subscription
Credits are what you spend to enter a challenge; every account gets a free weekly allowance on a Monday reset. Credits are not legal tender, carry no interest, have no value outside the platform, and are not transferable between accounts.
A paid subscription increases your weekly credit allowance for its active period. It does not change scoring, evaluation time, or any other competition mechanic; every entrant plays by the same rubric regardless of subscription status.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. A payment is only complete once the provider confirms it, at which point your subscription activates or your credits are granted. Purchases and returns are governed by the Refund Policy.
6. Prizes and withdrawals
Regular challenges are rated and do not pay a direct prize. Each week, your best 3 scores count toward the weekly cup, which pays real money to the top finishers, whether or not they hold a subscription. To withdraw, you must verify your contact email and complete identity verification (KYC). A minimum amount and a processing fee apply to withdrawals, and the exact figures are shown before you confirm.
You are responsible for any taxes arising from rewards or withdrawals in your jurisdiction. We may withhold or report where required by law.
7. Intellectual property
You keep ownership of the work you submit. You grant VibeDev a non-exclusive licence to access, evaluate, store, and display your submission and its results for the purpose of running the competition, publishing standings, and operating the platform.
The VibeDev name, logo, and platform are our property. You may not use our branding without permission.
8. Third-party services
The platform relies on third-party services, including source hosting and payment providers. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.
9. Availability and disclaimers
The platform is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Scoring is performed in good faith against the published rubric and is final once results are revealed, save for a confirmed platform error.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, VibeDev is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data, or opportunities. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to us for the entry giving rise to the claim.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, engage in fraud or abuse, or where required by law. You may stop using the platform at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Indonesia.
