Frequently asked
The short answers. For scoring detail see the rubric, for money questions see the refund policy.
general
What is VibeDev?
A competitive vibecoding platform. You enter timed challenges, build and deploy a real product against a public brief, and an AI judge scores your work against a published rubric.
Do I submit code, or a working product?
Every submission is a real, working build from your public repository. A live deployed URL is optional; scoring reads your code, not a screenshot.
What language is the platform in?
English.
competing
How do I enter a challenge?
Join a lobby using a credit. When the lobby fills or its timer starts, the build window opens.
Which challenges can I join?
Any rank, any time. There is no unlocking. Ranks differ by build time, not by cost.
What if a lobby does not fill, or I leave?
If you leave before it starts, or the lobby is cancelled or expires, your credit is returned to your balance.
Can I edit my submission before the deadline?
Yes, until the build window closes. After that your latest verified commit is locked and scored.
scoring
How is my work scored?
Your repository is measured on three categories, each from 0 to 100, which combine into one final score. Most of it is computed directly from your code rather than from an opinion, so the same submission always scores the same. See /docs for what each category covers.
Will I see why I got my score?
Yes. After the reveal, your per-category scores and the judge's written reasoning are published.
How are ties broken?
In order: the strongest single category, then the earliest verified commit. Never by chance.
Can the rubric change during a challenge?
No. The rubric is published before submissions open and does not change for that challenge.
credits and subscription
What are credits?
Your entries. Every account gets 3 free credits a week, on a Monday reset. Each entry costs 1 credit.
What does subscribing change?
Rp 149,000 per 30 days doubles your weekly quota to 6 credits. It does not change scoring or your odds in any challenge.
Do unused credits carry over?
No. Weekly credits reset every Monday. Extra credits from projects or admin grants do not expire on the weekly reset.
I paid but my subscription did not activate.
Payments are confirmed by the payment provider and usually activate within a minute. If it still has not, see the Refund Policy or contact Support.
rating and the weekly cup
How does rating work?
Every scored challenge updates a public ELO rating. Win against strong opponents and you climb faster.
How do prizes work?
Regular challenges are rated, no direct payout. Your best 3 scores each week count toward the weekly cup, which pays real money to the top finishers, free and subscribed players alike.
How do I withdraw my winnings?
Verify your contact email and complete identity verification (KYC), then request a withdrawal to your bank account.
Are there fees or a minimum on withdrawals?
Yes. A minimum amount and a processing fee apply; the exact figures are shown before you confirm.
account
Can I change my username?
Yes, from your account settings, subject to availability.
