You own (or dream of owning) a growing collection of cameras, lenses, filters, and accessories — but right now it's all rattling around in your head. Build a single-page app that lets photographers catalog every piece of gear they own or have on loan. Each gear entry should capture: item name, category (camera body / lens / filter / accessory / etc.), condition (mint / good / worn), whether it's currently lent out to someone (and to whom), a short personal note, and the date added. The app should display all items in a visual card grid, let users filter by category or loan status, and show a small dashboard summary at the top (total items, how many are currently lent out). All data must survive a page refresh using localStorage — no backend needed. The UI should feel warm and tactile, like a photographer's field notebook: muted earth tones, a clean card layout, and a simple modal or inline form for adding/editing entries.

Problem Solving & Design B+
The app covers every brief requirement with a coherent photographer-notebook metaphor, clear category and condition vocabulary, and well-structured filter controls.
Completeness B
All core data fields, CRUD operations, filters, dashboard summary, and localStorage persistence are fully implemented with empty and no-results states.
Technical Craft C
The codebase is well-structured with TypeScript interfaces, Tailwind CSS custom tokens, and strong accessibility patterns, though it lacks type exports for the full data model and has no automated tests.
