You lend your camping gear to a friend, borrow a drill from your neighbor, and swap a cookbook at your book club — and then promptly forget who has what. **Swap Meet** is a single-page app for tracking the stuff you've lent out, borrowed, and swapped with people in your life. Build an app where users can: - **Add an item** with a name, direction (lent / borrowed / swapped), the other person's name, and an optional due-back date - **View all active swaps** in a clear list, visually differentiated by direction (e.g. color-coded or icon-tagged) - **Mark an item as returned / completed**, moving it to a simple history section - **See a summary count** of how many things are currently out on loan vs. owed back to them All data must persist in `localStorage` so the list survives a page refresh. No backend, no login — just a clean, friendly interface that makes informal lending feel organized. The app should work entirely in a single browser page.

Problem Solving & Design C
The app cleanly separates active and history views, uses color and icons to differentiate directions, and adds an undo flow for deletions, but no transitions or animations are used anywhere.
Completeness A
All six brief requirements are fully implemented, but storage errors are shown while user-facing operation failures (e.g. save failure after marking complete) are not surfaced as visible messages to the user.
Technical Craft B+
The codebase is well-structured across five typed modules with immutable state updates, runtime schema validation on load, HTML escaping in the renderer, and a thorough automated test suite.
