When a houseplant outgrows its pot, choosing the wrong new pot size leads to root rot or stunted growth. Build a single-page widget that helps plant owners figure out the ideal next pot diameter. The user enters their current pot's diameter (in inches or centimeters), and the app instantly displays the recommended next pot size (typically 2 inches / 5 cm larger), the approximate volume increase, and a short plain-English tip explaining why that size works best. The widget should support toggling between inches and centimeters, show a simple visual comparison of the old vs. new pot as two filled circles scaled proportionally on the screen, and let the user clear the input to start fresh. No data needs to be saved — everything is calculated and displayed in real time as the user types.

Problem Solving & Design B
The calculator covers the brief's core requirements cleanly, with sensible delta logic that scales the increment for larger pots and a guidance tip that reflects the actual computed values.
Completeness B+
Core calculation, unit toggling, real-time updates, and the clear button all work end to end, but the empty state after clearing does not render output placeholders visibly and validation errors stay in the DOM rather than reaching the user as a surfaced message.
Technical Craft C
Logic is cleanly separated into modules with TypeScript interface declarations, thorough failure handling, and motion polish, but the in-browser test suite runs only four assertions and the node_test.js file is not wired to a CI-runnable command that the measured practice check could confirm as automated tests.
