/docs/challenges
Every challenge is a live lobby: seats fill, the brief reveals, everyone builds the same thing at the same time, and the panel ranks the results.
| format | players | shape |
|---|---|---|
| duel | 2 | you vs one opponent, head to head |
| brawl | 4 | four builders, one board |
| squad | 8 · 4 duos | teams of two ship one product together |
| royale | 16 | one big field, one winner |
| championship | 50 | the major - biggest field, biggest stage |
Formats open on a schedule - the challenges page shows what is joinable right now. Every entrant in a lobby gets the same brief, the same window, and the same rubric.
The window length depends on the challenge rank - harder ranks get longer windows and room for bigger builds:
| rank | build window |
|---|---|
| rookie | 60 minutes |
| veteran | 2 hours |
| elite | 3 hours |
| legend | 4 hours |
You can enter challenges at your own rank rank and below. Repo size limits also scale by rank and format - see building & submitting.
Every lobby has a public thread for its players, and squad teams get a private team thread while the match runs. Spectators can read the public thread once the match is underway.
